Auditions are here!!!!!!!!! Sean Fielder of the Boston Tap Company will be holding auditions! Sunday, June 9th, 12-4 p.m. … at the Tony Williams Dance Center Sponsored by Boston Urban Ballet & One Love Entertainment

Auditions will be for Adult company, Junior Company and for the first time in the company’s existence Sean will be auditioning for a new group, “The young HOOFERS” which will be ages 5-10, thats right, bring on the kids!

Audition details: Registration Fee: $25.00 (cash only)

Young HOOFERS Time: 12 – 1 p.m. Junior Company Time: 1 – 2:30 p.m. All Junior Company dancers must bring a copy of their most recent report card. Adult Company Time: 2:30 – 4 p.m. All Young HOOFERS Company dancers must bring a copy of their most recent report card. Please come at least a half an hour prior to your audition time. Also, bring a water bottle and dancer wear.

In light of recent events, the Boston Tap Company’s show Rhythm in the Night is now dedicated to the victims of this week’s tragic events and all of the first responders and volunteers. As President Obama said on Thursday, “they picked the wrong city to mess with”. We are asking community members to come to the Strand Theater at 7pm on Saturday night to show their support and come together to show how strong we are as a city. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $20 for center orchestra, and $5 for general admission for children under 10 and senior citizens. Part of the proceeds will go directly to the OneFund. The show promises to not only be entertaining but allow community members to come together for support. This is a red carpet event filmed by the Boston Neighborhood Network and there will be a cast party in the lobby immediately following the show for all patrons. We ask all audience members to show their Boston support by wearing Boston gear and participate in the Harlem Shake Video that will occur during intermission.
